First Meeting
2024
On May 10, 2024, Lion and Chantika first connected through social media. After chatting frequently on WhatsApp and Instagram, they decided to meet in person. Their first meeting happened on May 16, 2024. From that day on, their connection grew stronger, both through messages and in-person dates. On May 24, 2024, Lion expressed his feelings and shared that he wanted their relationship to be more than just friendship. The very next day, on May 25, 2024, they officially became a couple. And that’s when this beautiful love story truly began.

Since May 2024, they have been in a serious relationship, involving each other in family gatherings and daily life. Lion arranged a family meeting to discuss their future together. On September 28, 2024, both families met for the first time during a two-day getaway at a villa in Puncak. The first impression was warm and positive, and their journey together continued.
Love Proposal
2025
In December 2024, the two families met again to talk about the next big step. January 18, 2025, was chosen as the day for the traditional Batak ceremony "Marhori-hori Dinding", which is a formal proposal where the groom’s family visits the bride’s home to officially ask for her hand in marriage. After that moment, both families began preparing for the big day.
Engagement
July 19, 2025
In Batak tradition, the engagement or "Martumpol" usually takes place 2–3 weeks before the wedding. July 19, 2025, was the chosen day for the 3M ceremonies— Marhusip, Martumpol, and Martonggo Raja. The series of events went smoothly and meaningfully. As of now, Lion and Chantika are officially engaged, and they are ready to take the next step into married life.
