Love Story
2011 — When Paths First Crossed
We met for the first time at Al-Kautsar Junior High School. Oman was in 8th grade and Citra in 7th. Our dorms were next to each other behind the Islamic Center. Though we often saw each other, we weren’t close. After graduation, Citra moved to Jakarta, while Oman continued high school in Lampung.
2018 — A Chance Encounter in Jakarta
Years later, we crossed paths again in Jakarta. Oman was studying at YARSI University, and Citra at Trisakti University. During Ramadan, a message on Instagram sparked a new conversation. We met for iftar and kept in touch—until we both got busy again. Citra focused on her thesis, and Oman prepared to complete his medical studies.
2022 — Reconnected in Lampung
An Instagram story reply brought us back together. Oman invited Citra to iftar and picked her up from home. This time, we found ourselves encouraging one another— Oman was preparing for his medical licensing exam, and Citra was finishing her Master’s at SBM ITB. That was when our bond began to deepen.
2025 — A New Chapter Begins
In early 2025, we spoke of marriage. And on June 22nd, Oman formally expressed his intentions to Citra’s parents during our engagement ceremony. This was the beginning of our forever. May Allah SWT bless our journey ahead.
2022 — A Promise Made
On December 13th, 2022, we made a commitment to each other— to walk this path together, with purpose and prayer.
